Popular Post saltbox Posted April 28, 2021 Popular Post Posted April 28, 2021 As my collection has reached about 80:20 CC:NC, and my purchasing of NCs has mostly stopped aside from the occasional singles I'm interested in, I've focused on smoking through my remaining NC stock, which also gives my CCs more time to rest. I went through a period of buying a single of virtually every line from marcas I was interested in, and this Lirio Rojo Lonsdale is one of the remaining smokes I have from going through Warped's lineup. Rested at ~4.5 months at 65RH. First third: hay, nuttiness, white pepper. Some light creaminess and smoky peanuts, with a touch of citrus zing to go along with the white pepper. Middle third: creamy hay, peanut nuttiness, occasional notes of leather. Last third: more of the same, becoming a bit harsh towards the end. Overall: I've found that Warped's Nicaraguan puros all generally taste the same, with the GR88 maybe edging out the others and the only one I would actively reach for again, though not over my precious Cubans at this point. Warped also suffers from inconsistency that's probably worse than modern Cubans, with frequent underfilling problems in particular. 84/100 5

Tommy_Tao Posted April 29, 2021 Posted April 29, 2021 I have encountered more burn issues than before with recent Warped... And their young cigars appear to be stronger and less fermented. Sad to see one of my fav NC brands doing like this.
