Wrappers a bit on the thicker side.

Either way, I LOVE LGC (just wanted to make that known!)

No right answers just opinion. We would ask that opinion posts be limited to those that have smoked at least 3 of the offending cigars to have insight beyond a single smoke or evaluation just upon size. We’ve not made this a poll on purpose; want descriptions and opinions on where to put money on this marca at 2021. In a sense, would like to throw down on what the members who’ve tried these feel you should target today. Feel free to quote the post and expound on your experience with the specific cigar. Reviving this from the dead because I love LGC and think that HSA has lost their minds relegating this brand to a very limited run of MdO4s and the occasional regional. Medaille d’Or No.4 - Smoked a 2016 the other night and it was bliss. Have two full boxes and one, 1/2 box. Should have stocked up these better in the past. Won't be selling mine on Bond Roberts. Medaille d’Or No.2 - Have one full box from 2011. Love this cigar and it is criminal that it is no longer produced. Again, HSA would make a killing bringing these back and killing off the Monte Open line instead. Won't be selling mine on Bond Roberts. Inmensos (2010) - Have one partial box left. Agree with JohnS. Paraiso Caribe (2015) - Love these and wish I had more. Only a few sticks left. Recommended buy, if you can find them. Revolution Asia Pacifico (2015) - Made the mistake of trying this one young. They are resting and waiting for them to blossom. Platinum Países Bajos (2017) - Have this and waiting to try. Too young to waste a stick. Serie D No. 5 España (2018) - Have this and waiting to try. Too young to waste a stick. Orgullosos Suiza (2018) - Have this and waiting to try. Too young to waste a stick. Invictos Italia (2019) - Have this and waiting to try. Too young to waste a stick. Unifree Turquía (2019) - Have this and waiting to try. Too young to waste a stick.

Artin
Tangent comment: I would be ok if LGC or any other marca comes out with expensive LE/RG/FG/PG/OG/etc THIN rg cigars. Idea for Habanos: put some money in advertisements, promote a Dos Equis ‘most interesting man in the world’ / 007 type character to smoke thin rg cigars at the Monte Carlo casino (no pun intended), and you’ll most likely see an uptake of these thinner rg’s. Thinner cigars = less tobacco to produce. I see it as a win-win. I mean grow up Habanos, have a fricken back-bone, stop caving to the lame peer-pressure. I don’t know.. I think I’ve had too much to drink.Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

patrickamory
Best cigar I smoked this year was a NOV 12 MdO No. 4. Deep almond pine grass forest flavors throughout.
Dr vonPuffenberg
Brought home the Spanish regional on a trip to Barcelona Jan 2020. Smoked it a few months later and it was one of the standout sticks of the year for me. I then ordered a box from the Hong Kong retailer that ships to the US (LAT DIC 18). I’ve had 3 so far and none of them have been anywhere close to what I remember. Hardly enjoyable at all. I guess I’ll sit on the remaining sticks for a couple years and see what happens. I had asked my friend in Madrid to send me a box but he couldn’t find one. Ended up sending me the RE La Flor de Cano Mágicos, and those have been great. Very mild in my opinion and very satisfying.
Frinkiac7
I am reluctant to touch any of my LGC because I don't think they will ever come back. I have a Tainos single somewhere I may break out for a nice evening this summer. LGC 4 and another tainos box I am going to continue to hold. Don't ask me why...I'm not getting any younger. Miguel Gracias
I was lucky to grab 3 boxes from aruba.... a box and half left 😢
gojira
The No.2 is one of my favourite cigars. I liked the No.4 better before everybody got excited about it and the price nearly doubled, luckily I have a few boxes tucked away but the No.4 will never even come close to the joy smoking a MUR 13 No.2 brings me. The Inmensos is a great cigar as well and I sadly only have a few singles left. The Partagas factory really was on a roll (🙃) from 2012 to 2014 and produced some of the best cigars of the decade there and those MUR Inmensos are just amazing. When it comes to the REs only a few of them stand out IMHO. The blend often has not much in common with the LGC DNA and nothing in common at all with the classic LGC sizes when there still was something that could be called a LGC portfolio. I like the Glorias the best and have high hopes for the Orgullosos but then again all the 109 REs are rather stellar cigars. I dislike the Invictos and the D No.5 the most. I did not even chase down any singles to try of everything that came after the Orgullosos but am keen on trying the BeLux one once it has been released.
