Popular Post Meklown Posted February 25, 2021 Popular Post Posted February 25, 2021 I bought this 50 cab of PSP RASS in a 24:24 a few months back, and have probably smoked around 20 sticks by now. Most of it has been rather flavourful with a couple of duds but not more than you expect from a box of CCs. When I used to smoke less frequently (1 / week), a robusto would be a short smoke, while a longer smoke would be a churchill or more. However, in the past 2 years, I had started to smoke more, and since the on and off lockdowns in HK, I have started to smoke ~10/week. It's a lot easier to "find" time to smoke when I can smoke basically whenever, even while working. Having said that, I smoke much more PCs these days compared to robustos. I have always found RASS to be a really flavourful smoke, just over medium bodied. The cold draw on this one presents lots of raisins and some oak to accompany. The draw is right around perfect, with just the right amount of resistance. Wrapper looks really oily (in fact, the previous time I had a RASS I picked this one but put it back as the other one was less oily). First third has a lot of raisins and mulled wine. Prez frequently describes RASS as having stewed fruits, I guess this falls straight into that category. Second third presents more fruits, with some oak, sweet molasses. Into the final third and there is a slight pick up in strength, with oak and earth accompanying the molasses. Overall smoke time: 85 minutes. Another example of good RASS, with all the flavours you'd expect. Score: 87/100. A higher tune up to the fruitiness would be more to my personal liking, and a tad bit astringent in the final third dropped the sore by a couple of points. 11

Not sure of the dates on any I have had since I buy them as singles, but I'm guessing 2019 at the oldest, with 2020 being more likely as my vendor seems to move a pretty high volume and recent purchases where I did get a box code were all 2019 and 2020 Sent from my SM-G930V using Tapatalk 1
