Popular Post Silverstix Posted February 24, 2021 Popular Post Posted February 24, 2021 Another favorite of mine in the short cigar world - the Trinidad Reyes. Is it just me or is this a cigar that doesn’t get as much chatter as a Party Short or a BCJ? Maybe it’s the slightly higher price point? Anyway, I love them! These have all been great and highly consistent from this box. Silky smooth golden wrapper, perfect resistance on the draw. The rich yellow band is the perfect compliment. Starts out with a salty/sweet pretzel kind of taste. I always think of kettle corn. A little salt, a little sweet. There’s an added layer of creaminess as I get through the first 1”. Almost like a creme brûlée, or salted caramel. And an after dinner coffee on the finish. This is pretty much the development I got from this cigar and most of the others from this box. Salty/sweet progressing into a creamy dessert type of profile. Very nice. Overall - 4/5 Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk 19 1
Walter19 Posted February 24, 2021 Posted February 24, 2021 Nice review. I've never had much luck with the Reyes. The only Trini, that has really spoken to me was the Media Luna. 1

For me Reyes has been very consistent....good in the morning after breakfast or at night if I'm just in the mood for a quick 45 minute smoke after the kids are in bed. I haven't smoked any of the new releases, a little too rich for my blood. But I do have several Vigia and the couple I've smoked have been a solid 3.5/5 to 4/5. 2019 production 2

Yes, those 45 minutes are precious! I get it.
