Popular Post SpecialK Posted February 14, 2021 Popular Post Posted February 14, 2021 I wasn't going to do a review since it's cold and we just got around 10 inches of snow and have been shoveling/clearing and didn't feel like smoking outside or for that matter being outside anymore but I I manned up after seeing @Bijan doing it in much worse weather conditions. As far as Valentines day , My wife and I went out and had a nice Mexican Meal in town and with Mexican I always think Margarita's etc.. So with that I started thinking about Boat Drinks... I don't know if you've heard the Jimmy Buffet Song but it's about a man cooped up inside who want's to go to Saint " SomeWhere" or any place warm.. I remembered a review I found for a Punch done by @StogieSteve23 where he mentioned a drink from Cabbage Key called a "Cabbage Creeper" so I thought I would try that and drug out an old reliable Mayorga Toro bought last year. So I made the Cabbage Creeper and broke out the Mayorga Toro, a sub 6$ cigar (made by Nestor Plasencia in Nicaragua) and fired up the old Propane heater. Drink: Cabbage Creeper - 1 parts Cruzan Banana Rum, 2 parts Pina Colada Mix, Splash of Kahlua Cigar: Mayorga Toro 2020 with some damage to the foot.. Cold Draw: Very easy.. perhaps too easy maybe underfilled. Tasted tobacco nothing else 1/3: Not much going on a little coffee and leather nothing else.. It didn't look too promising.. If I wasn't going to review it I would have tossed it 2/3: It came into it's own.. Coffee, sweet Vanilla cream with cedar 3/3: Sweet Cedar and Coffee still present Smoke output was really good and the burn was sharp only had to touch it up after I went through my propane tank and had to hook up another The drink with the Kahlua really played off well against the coffee notes in the cigar.. for a Cigar that costs $5.50 I can't complain and I will give it a 3/5 .. It's not complex and it's great for working in the yard or hanging out in the hot tub and you won't care if you have to put it out.. Link to Boat Drinks and Pictures : 12

StogieSteve23 Posted February 18, 2021 Posted February 18, 2021 Hell yeah! Nice review and I hope you enjoyed the beverage as it pairs very well with a stogie. It's a fun one, once you get the ratios/flavor right you're looking for. They certainly do creep up on you! 1
