Walter19 Posted February 8, 2021 Posted February 8, 2021 I haven't had much luck with electric heaters. I find that the propane variants does the trick in my garage. My wife got me a heated Milwaukee Tool jacket that really gives off a lot of heat. Its work fantastic, when the heater is not enough. M12 Heated Gear and Apparel | Milwaukee Tool

M12 Heated Gear and Apparel | Milwaukee Tool The problem with electric heaters is if you have the standard plug 120v 15A kind they are limited to about 5,000btu. This setup here would be 80,000 BTU total on several 240V by 40A circuits. The M12 heated stuff is great. I have the hoodie which I wear under my winter jacket. Edit: for comparison single propane heaters that run on top of a tank can get 16,000 BTU, you'd need one of the 6kw heaters in this setup described here to beat that, where the standard electric heaters are only 1.5kw. 1
SpecialK Posted February 9, 2021 Posted February 9, 2021 I've had a not so good experience with Propane here 1
