Popular Post J-Slay Posted January 31, 2021 Popular Post Posted January 31, 2021 I'm a corona guy for sure, so pretty excited to try a Noellas from my Christmas jar. I like being able to review anything, so it's worth a few selfies. H. Upmann Noellas - BRE FEB 18 - Resting since Christmas Eve 2020 at 68F/62RH. Aroma at cold is hay and subtle barnyard. Nice toothy wrapper. Cold draw shows light cedar, fresh grass/hay, and some nutty notes. First 3rd - I got a great light and it's a smooth start. Smoke output is fantastic. Crisp clean tobacco. Not too sweet but fresh. A fresh hay/slightly sweet, begins to creep in with a subtle hint of creamy Upmann flavor. Just enough to mingle perfectly with all the rest. There's a long crisp/dry aftertaste. Construction is great. Maybe just a bit of dark coffee starting to creep in by the end of this third. Second 3rd - Things are starting to really come together. More Upmann twang is forming - still with a long dry flavorful aftertaste. Things are getting a bit sweeter and the dark coffee is coming through more too. I like! All construction aspects still perfect. Everything has combined into a classic sweet taste. The dark coffee really comes and goes nicely. Things appear to be going from Medium to Medium/Full. Final 3rd - Medium/Full for sure. I'm starting to get some short blasts of pepper but the retrohale is still smooth and easily manageable. Everythings going strong now. I'm getting strong flavor pockets of wood and dark coffee with Upmann goodness throughout. This last third really came together. It went fast. LOL! I'm giving this Noellas a solid 93. It was a great cigar. Three discernable thirds that built into a classic and enjoyable afternoon smoke. An hour well spent! Will be nice to see how these progress, but I'm not holding back. Hope everyone's having a great weekend! ✌️ ~Jordan 16
NSXCIGAR Posted January 31, 2021 Posted January 31, 2021 Noellas are usually excellent. If they were cheaper they'd be in my regular rotation. A real quality cigar, unlike the Majestics, Regalias and Epicures. I always get them in Cuba as they're actually a great value there. I love to see these being smoked and given some well-deserved attention. 3 1

KCCubano Posted January 31, 2021 Posted January 31, 2021 Still have several left from Original Release. Need to pull one out. Had one last year and was fantastic. 1
JZBdano Posted January 31, 2021 Posted January 31, 2021 Nice review, thanks for posting. I found a few of the original release a couple years ago at Hartman in Amsterdam, they were excellent. Jars weren't priced too bad at the LCDH so I bought 2. I'll have to try one soon. 2
