Smoked a partagas short that I got this past week, always nice to get a ROTT baseline right?

Cigar itself feels good, not too dry or wet from shipping.  Gave it a punch cut and had a pretty good draw, looking forward to smoking this after a disappointing Monte 4 a couple hours earlier.

In the first 1/2, I got a sweet spice and nuttiness that was enjoyable and reminded me of the Lusitania I smoked for the Xmas sampler review series.  Not as smooth of a smoke but with that being the only other partagas I've smoked, Partagas as a brand gives me the impression of a sweeter spice note with some nuttiness.

In the 2nd half I got a nice woody tobacco note.

Even though it's a short cigar, it took about a hour for me to smoke.  Burn itself was alright, required 1 relight and a few touchups.  Even if this has rested for a couple months, I wouldn't mind but being ROTT I was surprised on how well it burned and the overall construction in general.  And this was the roughest one in the cab I got with wrapper flaking in a few spots!  Really looking forward to seeing how these develop over time

I'll rate this a 5/10 - decently average but I was thinking ROTT it would be closer to a 3/10.
