Popular Post Habana Mike Posted December 21, 2020 Popular Post Posted December 21, 2020 Tired of lighters failing on me or having to refill too frequently, I picked this up for an early Christmas gift to myself. Professional chef's blow torch. Think Creme Brulee. Along with food grade butane. Holds almost a half a can. Results have been fantastic! 6
Bijan Posted December 21, 2020 Posted December 21, 2020 I like the fuel gauge. Don't mind refilling lighters but hate not knowing exactly when they're going to run out. This is motivating me to get a lighter with a fuel gauge... 2

One reason I went for a tabletop for home use. Bonus about those though is they'll go through a TSA checkpoint no problem. Not that I've done that any time lately..... 2

Habana Mike Posted December 21, 2020 Author Posted December 21, 2020 Walk right through security with one in your pocket. Almost completely plastic. 1

Oh you mean the cheap colourful lighters you posted, thought you meant the creme brulee lighter. I've lost too many items the random 1/100 they checked/found them and wouldn't risk anything expensive. 1
ChangBang Posted December 21, 2020 Posted December 21, 2020 Damn half a can of butane?? Wonder how that translates to cigars. I have 5 or so lighters cause they empty so fast, would rather have a solid one that can light a ton of cigars that I can refill like once a year lol. 1

Just got it today. Run very low, super soft flame. It can melt metal though if you need it to! 1

kalibratecuba Posted December 21, 2020 Posted December 21, 2020 I'm trying to imagine what 'Spicy Dew' is. Sent from my GM1917 using Tapatalk
Drguano Posted December 21, 2020 Posted December 21, 2020 Puretane is what the chef on the Mayflower used. 3
Popular Post Fuzz Posted December 21, 2020 Popular Post Posted December 21, 2020 I would have gone for a butane torch head that attaches directly to the can. No need for refilling. But if you really don't want to worry about refills.... 2 7
Drguano Posted December 21, 2020 Posted December 21, 2020 If you want something more substantial for the Herf... 2

mprach024 Posted December 22, 2020 Posted December 22, 2020 I’ve always sworn by these. I’ve owned many, this is the best one I’ve had so far because the flame comes to a very fine point. $20, and lasts a week before refill and never a light problem in over a year. My Colibris are in a drawer somewhere. You’ll never go back Mike! 2
PigFish Posted December 22, 2020 Posted December 22, 2020 ... you guys get a free pellet furnace with those??? -LOL -the Pig 2
