Another one from the sampler. And my first monte 2 of the year it looks like.
Wrapper is a little dry, not a lot oil. Feels under filled but smells amazing.
weather is foggy and 40f as a storm is rolling into the Sierra Nevada mountains
1st third- milk chocolate bomb, smooth with good smoke production. A touch of bitterness on the edge, no complaints
2nd third- staying with the milk chocolate, light leather coming thru. Having some construction issues, with relights needed,
final third- brew up some earl grey tea, and carry on. Some sweet sugar to add to the milk chocolate. More fireproof wrapper issues, but not effecting the flavor, more an annoyance.
good smoke- 87

Smoke my first Monte 2 a couple of months ago and this was spot on for me. Unfortunately especially the relight issues. My father in law had the one right next to mine in the box and had no issues. Guess it comes with the territory.

They make a bazillion M2s, and there is definitely variation. One of those cigars where selection by El Pres is so helpful. Thanks for the nice review.
