Popular Post Bijan Posted December 8, 2020 Popular Post Posted December 8, 2020 7th cigar of the Chirstmas sampler. Cigar under official weight. Barnyard aroma before lighting. Draw is good, tiny bit snug. First third: Lights up spicy, cinnamon and a tiny bit of cloves or something more complex on the retrohale. Cocoa and coffee on the draw with some of the cinnamon. Cinnamon and spice decreases towards the end of the first third. Second third: Starts out cocoa, then some milk coffee. Then cocoa again. Still cinnamon especially towards the first bit of the third. Final third: Sweet chocolate for a while. The final bit is a tea flavour. 67 minute until pretty close to the nub. I'd rate this 3.5/5 to 4/5, compared to the Supremos from my previous review which I gave 4.0 to 4.5. In retrospect I'd give the Supremos a solid 4.5/5 as the flavour on that one were much richer. As another comparison I had a Montecristo No.5 last night. With a smoke time of 50 minutes. It had many of the same flavours, namely cinnamon, chocolate and coffee, but it was just a bit less complex. I'd give that a 3.5/5. In my experience the No.2 and No.5 have more of that cinnamon, nutmeg spice, where the No.1, No.3 and No.4 are more chocolate, coffee and cream. 9
