H Upmann Half Corona MOE FEB 15 (49SRW)*

Bought this box without ever trying HUHC from the vintage collection from our host. 

Construction and draw was immaculate for such a small cigar. Burn was razor sharp. 

Flavor - Coffee and cream. It’s a Cappuccino in a cigar. Mild in strength. No rough edges. 

I have tried 9 sticks so far and all have been fabulous delivering exactly the same flavors described above. I will rate this a solid 90.

Coincidentally, I've called down an OPG Feb 15 box of H.Upmann Half Corona from my OLH recently. I'm even more keen to smoke the first one from the box after reading this review. Thanks!

Thanks for the review.  It's my 1st choice for a quick smoke.  I've got quite a few boxes of various years and they are one that improves with age.  I don't have high expectations of these but they are really satisfying.

Oh I definitely will. I smoked one from the box yesterday. I envisage I'll put the detailed review up in the Daily Smoking thread next week.

Off the top of my head, there was a distinctive contrast in comparison to young H.Upmann Half Coronas which are more dominant in toasted tobacco and white pepper/spice in my mind. My HU Half Corona had those sweet melded flavours you described, it was really pleasant.

Great! On the same note, I have been experimenting with dry boxing lately and I have experienced that the intensity of flavors in these aged HUHC are more pronounced after about a week dry boxing. Definitely give it a try.
