First smoke and review from this year's Christmas sampler and my first EL.

Cigar is over official weight.

Cigar smells of barnyard and tobacco.

Nothing particular out of cold draw.

First third: Lights up with extremely strong coffee. Then some shortbread comes in. At around 5-10 minutes peppery spice. Continues coffee and pepper.

Second third: Pepper dies down about halfway through, and it's mainly strong coffee that is left.

Final third: A bit sweeter now with some chocolate with the coffee.

52 minute smoke time. I'd rate this 3/5.

Nice review! I think this is one of the few from the sampler I’m gonna let take a long nap. Which one are you going to smoke next?

I've smoked 3 or so, they're giving up very little at this point. To be expected.

@Kaptain Karl @Tstew75 definitely young. Wouldn't have been my first choice to smoke either, but it was the smallest so I figured it would be good for a winter smoke. Otherwise I was leaning towards the Lusitania, maybe I'll brave it tomorrow, YOLO and all

I found the Propios to be the strongest CC start to finish I've had in years. Interested to see what some time does to it. The Mag 56 has mellowed out quite a bit in only 4 years.
