ChangBang Posted December 1, 2020 Posted December 1, 2020 Smoked my first Siglo 1 that I bought as a single with my first 24:24 purchase. I have been encountering some construction issues as of late, which I think could be because my humidity has been creeping up in my tupperdor. Figured this would be a good time to experiment with dry boxing - looking back I probably should have done this with a cigar I know and have several of so I can compare and see what the dry box sweet spot is. Dry boxed(left on table) for about 48hrs with normal humidity here being 25-30%. Was weird that I got no aroma from it, tried to shove it up my nose to smell something...but nothing. Draw was tight as well. This isn't looking too good. Whatever it's how it smokes right? Gave it a light and we'll see how it goes So right off the bat, it's a smooth smoke with a light grassy taste with a hint of citrus. I wrote light lemongrass in my notes. Really emphasis on light, As the cigar progressed that faded away to a rougher harsher tobacco leather flavor before I was at the end. Draw really didn't open up and the flavors did seem light. I have it at a 3/10. Not terribly impressed with it and really haven't had great luck with this shape in general. I'll be smoking a CoRo soon for the xmas sampler contest and hope it's a lot more enjoyable. 2
