Hi Bijan,

Hope you and your loved ones are well and safe.

Thank you for your review. What is the 49SRW stands for?

Thanks.

Thanks. I hope you and your loved ones are safe too.

This was the topic of an old review week. It was for 49 ring gauge and below cigars and was called 49rg south review weekend.

Another good review.  I haven’t had a Sig II in a couple years, I was having rotten luck but seems like many are having success again, maybe I should have grabbed some on 24:24 today.  Butter makes everything taste better.

Well that sounds fantastic!! I snagged a box of II’s last night so I hope they smoke nearly as well as the el laguito II’s.

A Siglo II from my box with the lighter wrappers.

Cigar is again just over official weight.

I am curious, how do you know the official weight of this cigar?

Thanks

And also:

The older website cigar-reviews.org also has some weights:

http://www.cigars-review.org/Cohiba-Siglo-II.htm

http://www.cigars-review.org/Mareva-Size.htm

Edit: They usually agree. Cigar-reviews doesn't have all the newer cigars though.

Thank you very much for that information.

Thank you very much for that information.

Just keep in mind that cigars weights have a range of maybe -15% to +30% of official weight, and so the official weight is towards the lower end of the weight spectrum for any cigar size.

@Bijan I know you snagged 2 boxes of them, have you smoked another recently? I ordered one this week, I’m hoping they’ll be ready to rock within the next 2 years or so!

No, might smoke one tonight. Have to decide which one...

That’ll be interesting to see if the MAR is really superior.

I did smoke one from the other box to review way back when:

Smoked a UMR code tonight (dark wrapper). Might do the MAR tomorrow (light wrapper).

The UMR was consistent with my previous review. Coffee and grass/hay. Some bit of spice in first third. Some sweetness in second third. A little more bitter in final third.

Edit: 80 minute smoke time.
