Popular Post Bijan Posted November 27, 2020 Popular Post Posted November 27, 2020 After smoking my last Cohiba review cigar too fast in the dryer air and getting a bit too much pungent mint (which may have been a grass flavour I mislabeled), I smoked this week's slower in the humid air. Seems to have worked out. I chose one from the darker box I have. I had never smoked a darker wrapper Cohiba. It was just over official weight. After 9mm punch draw was a bit tight, there was a bit of a plug right at the head, so I used the perfecdraw just half an inch in and it really opened up. First third: Lemongrass flavour, and lemongrass on the retrohale. Some coffee. Second third: A lot more coffee, then some tea, then coffee again. Still light lemongrass on the retrohale. Some tingling taste but not quite the mint of last week's cigar. Final third: A little creamier, still mainly coffee. A little creamier on the retrohale. 74 minute smoke time, smoking slowly while on zoom. This is pretty high on the smoke time for me on a mareva. 4/5, good solid smoke, good draw, solid smoke output, but I would have liked slightly sweeter flavours and maybe a bit more flavour than the generally light lemongrass on the retrohale. 11
havanaclub Posted November 27, 2020 Posted November 27, 2020 2s are always good. Just find they need 3 plus years to really shine. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk 3
