The introduction of Partial Boxes on Bond Roberts.

The evolution of Bond Roberts continues with plenty of changes coming up in 2021 

One of those changes includes Partial Box Sales to approved sellers. 

Whether you have 1 box or 100, you will be welcome to sell aged partial boxes as long as:

1. you are a verifiable known and respected member of the global cigar community (not a hard criteria if you are on FB/Forums etal or can reference others in the cigar community). 

2. The boxes are over 3 years of age. 

3. Original box required.

3. We do not have a minimum number of sticks determined  at this time. We will likely use a "within fair reason" criteria. 

Tomorrow you will see a partial box go up . It is one of ours and it is up for sale. We will be using the experience as a final "test" for the program that goes into effect in January. 

We will release the balance of Bond Roberts Changes then. Hold onto your hats

That might be a bit in the future. This still requires the original box.

(And maybe 50%+ or 75%+ of original cigar count).

To be fair if we see 2 sticks on a 5 pack of Davidoff number 1, we would likely allow it subject to the member listing. That is why the 50% or 75% is so difficult to be a hard and fast rule.

That's the spirit. 

From my personal end I have the following:

 

I have a box of 21 Monte A that I am never going to smoke.

Box of 8 Sancho Panza Sanchos that can find a home. 

17 Punch Black Prince that smoke fine but have never really sung for me. 

With the funds I will stock up on some 2020  Punch Short Punch de Punch that I am enjoying so much at the moment.  Nice way to do it.

You know, I have never been a cigar seller. I give them away, but never sell them. This would be a first.

Why hold cigars that you are not going to smoke? For me it has always been, just build another humidor to hold them... never sell them. Pride, stubborn, too lazy!!! Hell, I don't know!

I think I want to dump some original release Siglo 6 as well. I have to wonder what they will bring!

Gotta' buy me a new left hip! Maybe a few Cohibas will lessen the pain!!! -LOL

I have humidors of partial boxes that i am not going to smoke for one reason or another. let them go to a good home and I will put the funds to something i want like a fly reel or a trip away with Di.

Yes, should easily get $100+ per stick. "big, old Cohiba" is all that matters. And of course, they have been stored perfectly!

As far as how good they are, I think Ray's assessment isn't far off.

I see that the trial box went up.

This will  be the format for partial boxes come January 2021 .

Good result. $606 for the partial box of H. Upmann Magnum 48 (21 sticks). 

System worked well. Some minor tweaks and we will be away with partial box sales from the 4th of Jan give or take a few days.
