Cuban Tobacco Leaf Porter (Beer)

Good friend saved this beer to share with me after a trip to Israel. What an interesting beer! Anyone had this before?

Compared to a standard porter it was wildly different, so I am assuming that was the impact of the leaf. I got a distinct earthy leather note. Paired with a very apparent floral sweetness.

Yes, it was brought back from Israel but I drank in the states. Have not had Maccabee

Maccabee is a big commercial beer there.  Hardly craft brew like the one you are drinking.
