Popular Post cigaraholic Posted November 23, 2020 Popular Post Posted November 23, 2020 Haven’t smoked one of these in a long time, so long I can’t remember when I had my last one, usually time is good to LGC? Very good looking cigar, smooth wrapper with a deep colorado shade. It’s nicely filled at 16.3g but for some reason feels light in my hand. Draw is open but fine, not a wind tunnel but I like some resistance in the draw. First puffs are very fragrant, like smoking a fine perfume, a very exotic start. The smoke feels very soft and smooth in my mouth, it’s under medium bodied. Honey, cedar and light graham cracker follow as the perfume disappears. 10 minutes in the smoke gets thicker with a mouth coating caramel but still under medium body. 25 minutes in its still a deliciously delicate smoke, I’m hoping it gets out of 1st gear. 40 minutes and it’s walnut skins, lavender, caramel and it’s still a sipper, just baby puffs required. At 50 minutes it’s climbed to medium body with caramel, cedar and wildflowers and a long lip smacking finish. Just before the last 1/3 it gets creamy with a campfire toasted marshmallow flavor. Last 1/3 the cigar tightens up and I can take a normal puff, hello 2nd gear, a little over medium bodied. It’s all butterscotch and cedar now and stays sweet to the end....85 minutes. A very fine cigar, I think it would be even better if it was more tightly rolled or had a bit more tobacco. Can’t remember ever having a 54 ring gauge sipper. 7
