dominattorney Posted November 23, 2020 Posted November 23, 2020 Scored two od these over the summer and smoked through the first box. This is the first stick out of the second. It will spend 2 hours with me writing a motion to suppress DNA evidence. Poor bastard. first third is iffy, as construction seems to be a bit of a worry. Right after I took the below picture the dreaded pop signaled some early wrapper difficulties. Turned out to not be as problematic as anticipated and no more explosions for the remainder of the smoke. Flavors are unsweetened pancake and butter on top of toasted tobbacco. Very pleasant late afternoon smoke. One of my go to golf cigars because of the size and relatability of flavors and light to medium body. Here the afternoon light shows the wrapper unraveling from the pop at the beginning. Just soldiered through like a champ with shortbread and dense cake flavors. A bit of cinnamon on the retrobale at the end of the second third. Sadly there were technical difficulties toward the end. Perhaps the bit hear the head of the cigar was undefiled, but I had to re light multiple times as she kept going out on me. That really put a damper on the flavors at the end. Cake and shortbread with light spice were replaced by bitter ash. Time to toss her. Oh well. Great cigar until the end. No complaints here even with the less than stellar finale. The cigar comes as advertised. Light flavors. Light to medium body. If you pay attention you are rewarded with some subtlety but this cigar doesn't demand that you do to enjoy yourself. 3
