Trying to share my new found CC passion with my neighbor and his friend brings him this from the Virgin Islands. I’m to new to this so I consider myself slightly more educated than a cruise tourist thanks to this forum. ( I’m getting there ! )

Head and Cohiba embossed. Gap at the bottom of the C in Cuba. No uv anywhere.

I have been researching old bands for the last 2 hours and haven’t seen one close to this.

He says tell me if it’s fake. I said to me it is but I know the right people who can confirm or deny my opinion.

Fake.  Sorry.  Didn't need to read the rest of your post.  ?

One more clue--those white squares on the band should be perfectly centered--top and bottom.

The top row should not be a partial square.

The face should also be perfectly centered.

This is not a close call--bad fake.

Low quality Cohiba band & chopped filler leaves are the proofs that this cigar is fake buddy. The band looks way too thick compare to legit ones.

Yep, don't buy CCs in the Caribbean unless from a LCDH.

Trust me...this is sound advice!
