ChangBang
Last cigar from the Petit Corona sampler and finally had a good draw! Off the bat, there's a nice toasted tobacco note with some nuttiness. Little bitter notes right at the start, but that wears off after maybe 1/2 inch. Flavors have a little woody note and tone down about halfway through. After the halfway mark - flavors are a little sweetness and rich tobacco. All that bitterness is gone, and just enjoying this cigar. Not the most complex or flavorful, but the draw and burn were a welcome change to this past weekend's smokes. Towards the end, still getting that sweetness with a touch of leather and roasted tobacco. Overall I'd rate this a 5/10 - pretty average but enjoyable. So in the FOH petit corona pack: Bolivar PC - 6/10 PLPC - 5.5/10 Monte no.4 - 5.5/10 HUpmann Coronas Major - 5.5/10 R&J PC - 5/10 R&J Cedros No 3 - 5/10 Trinidad Coloniales - 4/10 RG PC - 3/10 Unfortunately the PC sampler pack was a miss for me and at about $14 or $15 per cigar, pretty overpriced in my opinion. Was still cool to smoke cigars that I wouldn't have but you'll be better off buying singles than going for the sampler. 2
