ChangBang Posted November 9, 2020 Posted November 9, 2020 2nd to last cigar I have yet to try from the Petit Corona Sampler from the host and also my first HUpmann cigar. As I've come to expect, draw is tight and I feel there's a knot right at the band. I try to massage it out and hit it with the perfecdraw a couple times - I guess it was a bit too much and the wrapper cracked a little at the band which you can see. Does this mean I just massaged it too much, cigar's too dry or humid, or just bad luck with the cigar? Getting into the cigar, its pretty nice especially after that disappointing RG I had the night before. In the beginning got earth, leather, and toasted tobacco notes. Maybe a couple inches in, got a doughy-ness earthy flavor that was unique and enjoyable. In the last half, draw finally opened up when I got to that knot and got some extra grassy notes with maybe a touch of harshness. I think this was a pretty decent cigar, maybe a touch above average - going to rate this a 5.5/10. So in this petit corona pack: Bolivar PC - 6/10 PLPC - 5.5/10 Monte no.4 - 5.5/10 HUpmann Coronas Major - 5.5/10 R&J Cedros No 3 - 5/10 Trinidad Coloniales - 4/10 RG PC - 3/10 Only have the RyJ PC left! 2
