Popular Post sho671 Posted November 2, 2020 Popular Post Posted November 2, 2020 I had my first Cohiba Short in late October and did a review about it for the Sub 46 Ring Gauge Weekend Review. Since then it has become one of a very few cigars that I have been smoking regularly and they have been pretty consistent. It's cheap and short, but has attributes that make it shine as the weather gets colder. It always lights and burns well and the flavors are consistently bold to me. I don't seem to pick up any specific flavor notes during the 15-20 minute smoke, but it is never bad. Always an enjoyable smoke. 1 on my 0/1 scale. 7 1
Luca Posted November 2, 2020 Posted November 2, 2020 Yes as @cfc1016 said. Let's see some pictures of the humidor!
thestogiewhisperer Posted November 2, 2020 Posted November 2, 2020 would be curious to know what rh the humidor is set at, I enjoy the shorts also
Popular Post sho671 Posted November 3, 2020 Author Popular Post Posted November 3, 2020 @Luca @cfc1016 @thestogiewhisperer I keep a 65% rH 60 gram pack in there and the temp is between 65 and 69 F. 6 3
La_Tigre Posted November 3, 2020 Posted November 3, 2020 @sho671 I wonder what effect storing them in there out of the cello would have on their flavor. We smoke Trinidad primarily but have considered getting one of these for storage.
sho671 Posted November 4, 2020 Author Posted November 4, 2020 @La_Tigre There’s only one way to find out. I have yet to try the Trini Shorts but I ordered some recently and I’m hoping they’re good.
superman0234 Posted February 3, 2021 Posted February 3, 2021 Sorry to bump an old topic, I just got one of these recently. Can I just throw it in my coolerdor, cardboard box and all?

I’ve heard that cardboard doesn’t do well over time in a dark humidified space, but other than that I see no problem with putting the humidor in your coolerdor. I just put a 65% 60g Boveda pack in mine after smoking a few to make space.
