Cohiba Robusto, code unknown (MPRW)

I just realized that I have never purchased a Cohiba, and the ones that I have smoked have been gifts, and all directly from friends who had visited Cuba. I received this CoRo a couple of years ago from a Cuban friend. That's why it's precious to me. 

I finally put a flame to it.

Some Cohibas from the past have been "just good," but not special. This one was especially good. Not quite as amazing as the Esplendido that I received from the same friend, but I savored every puff of this one, and didn't want it to end. The blend of flavors was lovely, and the draw and construction were spot on.

A terrific smoke.
