A., a release from a distributor owned by HSA, or a distributor independent of HSA. This is important for determining the item collection value. Now there is a heated discussion about how legal it is to release a collectible jar by repacking stock cigars in a jar by a distributor that does not belong to HSA. It would be a brave distributor operation not to have written permission (and a financial arrangement). You are not a distributor long without stock. Of course there are shenanigans that happen in our favourite stores in Havana. You don't even get a box code. But hey, refills readily available. And with no distinctive cigars needed, watch for jars at great prices on a Chinese e-retail site near you! But almost all other examples are for unique cigars (usually ERs) and the prices have been reasonable. I don't mind paying an extra couple hundred for a nice jar with Boli Teseros. But a distributor jar filled with garden variety regular production for $1,300? I was born on a Friday, but not last Friday. The only other similar releases I can think of are the Tabacalera Sevilla jars with Monte 3 and ERDM CS that came out a few years back. And last time I checked these have barely gone up in value if at all. The original price on these were a much more reasonable $550-650.
