Popular Post Bijan
Was totally surprised. I was expecting a unidimensional consistent strong Partagas spice throughout. Of the Partagas cheap and cheerful these have been the most consistent construction wise for me. Cigar weighed in a little heavy. Perfecdraw as far as it would go and the draw was perfect. Opened up with pepper, then nutmeg. But very light especially on the retrohale. Then went to herbs and cocoa unexpectedly. Finished with cinnamon and then mint. Was not expecting such transitions. All the while the flavours were light. But the nicotine hit was insane and kept me pacing myself. My beer lasted 60 minutes and it was a good choice as I usually have club soda or ginger ale and that would have been done much quicker. Cigar lasted 80 minutes and if I wasn't tapped out from the nicotine maybe another 5 minutes. This from me who managed to smoke my last Lancero in 70 minutes (though I was pressed for time then). Never had a Petit Corona or Corona last so long. Quite a marathon. But felt fine at the end, I just felt as though I had smoked a Churchill or double Corona. Goes to show that cigars can always be unpredictable.
