They don't ship to the US and they place a hold on 50% of your credit card limit. Hard pass for me at least.

Even for the UK lots, I do not see any mention of Canada. Only the following:

Much of the above are true though if there's a relationship a bit of leeway exists.

Several years ago I was in London on a trip with my bro and our wives, the Davidoff store had Dom Perignons from 1989 and we splurged.  I had high hopes, it was decent, but very very light, almost had a papery finish.  Reminded me of a good Bordeaux that was drank 5-10 years too late.  Would have rather bought 5 Behike’s in hindsight but like you I always wanted to try, and still glad I did.

I suggest doing some research on the individual running this auction and their reputation. 

I can tell you I have personally won lots from this outfit and I won't go into details but I was less than pleased, although my experience was in 2010.

Prices were off the hook today. Just insane. Almost everything I was interested in went for double what I would have paid, and I was prepared to pay up.

If it helps la casa del tabaco knokke Belgium sells cuban davidoffs. They do not auction them.

He did a good job in promoting and marketing the auction.  He did a lot of build up on social media.  Does not surprise me they went for big money consider the list of bidders & fans in that circle.

Unforuntately no singles right now. And the two boxes are $5k and $6k respectively (possibly not a bad price, but still not much more accessible than those auctions).
