You are in Havana and looking for a box of Cohiba Robusto.

Maelyn behind the counter pulls three boxes for your inspection. Blow and behold aroma, construction and wrapper shows them all to be PSP grade.

Assuming left to right ....Box 1 Box 2 Box 3

You can have only one.....so which one would you choose?

# 3  amazing for me.

I can tell y'all like to smoke your CoRo young.  When #1 is indeed best. But in my experience, the box that has the best chance of becoming mind-blowingly good at 8+ years is more likely to be #2

All the boxes I’ve smoked have looked like #1, and they were great, so gotta go with what I know.  My opinion isn’t as helpful as someone who has tried Coro in darker shades as well, though.

A year ago it would have been box #3 - I always went for the dark. oily wrappers.  Now, after smoking Cubans for a year I have really grown to appreciate the light colored and rosado wrappers if they show the same shiny, oily surface and pick those first!  So it's #1 for me ....

1. Lighter wrapper always better. To me anyway! The couple of boxes I have left from 2008 are all lighter wrappers and are stellar after 12 years

Other experiences may vary, of course.
