Popular Post dominattorney Posted September 27, 2020 Popular Post Posted September 27, 2020 Got invited to a special 60 person concert on an organic farm in an undisclosed location to listen to my friends band play grsteful dead covers. They are really good and we jumped at the chance to see any concert as it has been a while. Brought this guy along to enhance the mood, and as "organic insect repellant" per advice of the lady who sent the invites. I opened my travel humi surreptitiously, somehow aware of the contraband status of what I had smuggled into this den of iniquity. i lit up and held the cherry low as the sun still played on the horizon. My stepdaughter asked me why I was being so cagey with it, since she could smell and observe numerous people consuming marijuana. I told her, just wait. Hippies and logic are not close bedfellows. I was enjoying the first third. Which was caramel, cream and toasted tobacco when a Carole Baskin looking lady came up to me and said without any hint of irony the following: CB this is an organic farm. We cannot have any tobbacco products here. ME this is an organic cigar, but its your farm so I appreciate your concern and ill put it out. CB thanks for understanding. The fumes from tobacco products interfere with the plants we grow here because they can only be exposed to organoc compounds or the vibrations will suffer. Again. No hint of irony. I had to hand it to the lady it takes either titanium balls or a monumental lack of self awareness to offhand gibberish of that caliber with such excellent dead pan delivery. Despite her lack of reasoning, you can't argue with the golden rule. He who owns the farm, makes up whatever nonsense he wants. Finished the cogar on the ride home. 9 of 10 and great to be back watching just again. If only for one night. 7 5
Popular Post PigFish Posted September 27, 2020 Popular Post Posted September 27, 2020 I admire your respect for private property. A respect certainly not returned with the 'earth belongs to everyone crowd.' Thanks for sharing. -R 5

Of course, trying to explain logic to these people is just another way to ruin an otherwise decent mood. I am cursed that the type of music I enjoy is part of that culture. Dealing with things like these statements, to say nothing of the body odor, is part of the cost of doing business. 1
smitte3 Posted September 27, 2020 Posted September 27, 2020 Funny story, cant fight with the party hostess even if theres a naughty list of organic products Or lack of understanding for country of origin. The light wrapper looks nice, I’ve liked all the lighter brown wrapper Fonseca’s much much more than the darker wrapper ones which lean heavily in the earthy dark roast coffee, astringent notes.
Kaptain Karl Posted September 28, 2020 Posted September 28, 2020 I’m surrounded by those people where I live north of San Francisco. They’re...entertaining, to say the least!
Cairo Posted September 28, 2020 Posted September 28, 2020 Hey Karl--I always joke that I can get along with every person on the planet with the exception of the folks of Marin County. ?
