Just brings a smile to your face.

Nice! I kind of like this one... Seems Alfa designs are an acquired taste though....

Nice that Di let you pick up her new car and deliver it to her.

My wife was pissed off the way I drove my old Tiguan. Imagine the fun with your little baddie! Love it!

Congrats! That looks like the saloon though no? I like the hatchback of these. We have a standard one in white...with the diamonté grill. Not my choice of livery... 🙄

I believe James Dean was killed while driving a Porsche Spyder but not sure of year.

James Dean was killed in a car accident driving this same make and model Porsche in late September 1955. He had finished filming his scenes in 'Giant', so he was freed from his contractual obligations preventing him from indulging in his passion for auto racing.

George Stevens, the director of 'Giant', took a long time to edit his film; it didn't come out until late 1956. It was a huge box-office success. Since James Dean only starred in three films; 'Rebel Without A Cause', 'East of Eden' and 'Giant' (all considered classics of their era), it's not immediately obvious that he passed away in the mid-50s as he had such an impact on American culture well into the late fifties too.

Not exactly true. He had a major role in 3 films, but was in several other films in small, uncredited roles.

He starred in three films. Exactly 100% true and what I was implying.

Rob decided that he has a need for a getaway driver and that the current car was not fast enough.
Especially now that Arty does not have The Yellow Submarine and gone with The Big Red Car, Rob needs to outrun the cops instead.
