Baccy
Very exotic looking cars, MGs certainly have a loyal fanbase. I have a friend who rebuilt an mgb from the ground up.
rcarlson
What year is #2? Windshield is throwing me. The early Corvette (53-54) was a poser compared to this. Guessing the same era, but hell if this Yankee knows.

Simply stunning cars.

Ken Gargett
canadian mate of mine in sydney used to drive a fabulous old MG. i always thought it looked great but would be a pain. he was taller than i am and i could not believe it was not uncomfortable. then he took me for a drive. just wow. i had all the footroom i ever needed. still not sure how. loved it.

Watching a friend of my father’s house, pet sitting when I was quite young. they had a white one and I found the keys. Being an impetuous youth of course I had to take it for a drive. Fantastic though not entirely reliable. Ended up getting caught out. Great memory!

Popular Post fokker4me
My old Merc is greatly reliable, but a dull machine to drive. There is something to be said of understated straight slab sided cars that show class.
Popular Post fokker4me
Now this was a car I had on a poster of as a kid, when the opportunity came to finally own one I jumped on it. I love the lines one an XJS. The rear buttresses they flow into the rear quarter panel are something that won't be duplicated. Let's not talk about reliability, it isn't.
fokker4me
The 1949 Buick had some lines. This is the opposite of a hoot to drive.
Popular Post Fuzz
For me, sexiest lines on a car.... the C1 Corvette 1957-59. Can never go past without stopping and staring. One of these days I will own one. 1957 1959

Obviously much later than this example, but it still embodies, in my mind, the spirit of The Merc. I imagine there should be a general or dictator riding in the back, with flags flying from the boot. I love the whitewalls and hubcaps. Class.

GolfT3
Don’t forget the Toyota luxo barge, the century. Like the lovechild of a Fleetwood and a Maybach.
