Post up the Ugliest/Most Unique ashtrays on the net today.  Current or vintage ....it doesn't really matter.  

Ashtray design can be an artform. Other times it can be a complete CF. Put those aspects together (artform/CF)and you have something that either puts a smile on your face/ makes you raise your eyebrows.....or both

I have one of these at home.  Modelled after old-west spittoons.  

Something kinda gross thinking about ashing into something full of other people's spit.

My favourite / most used one at home.  One of the original Nat Sherman pewter grid ashtrays.

Somewhat plain, but the simplicity of the geometry, along with the polished and cast material, makes it kinda nice too.

 

I love my original Hotel Nacional marble giant too.  But it's more of a display piece.  This isn't an actual picture of my main one, but I have a giant one in the exact same colour scheme of grey-on-black-with-yellow that the one to the left has.  I like my copper stinky too.

But this thread is overall quite apt.  I was just texting Frank about one of the PCC / Siglo Accessories ashtrays just a couple of days ago.  The "Cuba navigation" ashtray, the one paying tribute to Columbus / the compass rose one.

It's stunning, the colour focus on Cuba, the rich gold highlights, and the attention to detail with the compass points.  

I wish they still had some - I woulda ordered one a few days ago.
