Daniel Marshall Humidor

Just going to share that I bought a Daniel Marshall humidor a while back and it has worked out really well. It’s a 165 size but really holds about 75 of the larger sticks (54-60 ring gauge, around 6” on avg). I set it up with a Boveda Bulter humidity/temp monitor and one 65% Boveda pack (60 size, the smaller one). For this size humidor, Boveda says I need like 5-6 of these packs, but the humidor is so good at keeping the humidity in that a single pack placed inside, where the the standard florist foam thing originally sat, is sufficient.

I researched humidors alot before buying this one so thought I would share. You can get this model for $495 via their “private stock sale” (might have minor cosmetic blemish but fully functional and still comes with lifetime warranty). MSRP is $1,095.

Also I have some cubans on order (from FOH) to put in.  I did not even I realize I could have them shipped to me in the U.S. until another forum member recommended FOH to me. I have smoked them while abroad in the past but looking forward to trying again. Starting w/ H. Upmann No. 2, Montecristo No. 2, Hoyo de Monterrey Epicure Especial SLB, and Romeo Y Julieta Churchill.

I keep a DM humi at my office.  Love it. 

Pull back on the Boveda to 62% for your CCs.  All those NCs like rh a little higher.  I guess you can smoke your NCs while you wait for your CCs to acclimate.

100%... not sure what the science is behind it, but Cubans for me 62% NC 65+%
