Romeo Y Julieta Cazadores

Recommended Posts

Well Well! I really wasn't expecting to have this cigars as a fav! Always wanted to try them but never pulled the trigger on a box until recently, and WOW was I impressed! I don't see them as harsh or strong but rather full of dark cherries with a floral base and some milk chocolate mixed in. its really tasty and I love them! and so young! can't wait to see how they progressively develop. Am I the only one who characterizes the cazadores in this way?

love them, although I prefer ones with some age (5 years or so), as I find them pretty bold young.

only issue with them is often I find they have a tight draw, usually requiring a drybox and then the perfecdraw.

I find them sweet and savoury, not too strong but very unique. Don't know how I'd describe it exactly (maybe ribs with BBQ sauce), it's been a while. From what I remember I found the same vitola Fonseca No. 1 to have a similar flavour but that could have been my imagination.

Edit: Speaking of Fonseca No. 1 they are up on 24:24 tonight.

Love these. With all the lament over the amount of long and skinnies left in the Habanos portfolio these always seem to get overlooked.  Right now I'm pulling from a 2012 box that is smoking great.
