When I see the Cuban pyramid, I can't understand why it has almost parallel faces and does not look like a "pyramid"at all. Most people will think that this photo from Ken’s article is a crude fake, but it looks more like a pyramid cigar:

A little "drunk history", Ken?  ;)

I blame punctuation:

I read it as:

First released, prior to the Cuban Revolution that saw Fidel Castro come to power, in 1935,

What's a few decades between friends :)

Great read. Always enjoy the back alley and secret farm stories that only the locals know of.
The point to remember is that sometimes you need to make good of what you have available. My Dad told me stories of "Kick the Can" back in his youth. Starting to wonder if Pops was some kind of good Vampire. " Kick the Can". Hours upon hours of kicking a can with friends and enjoying every second of it. Almost hard to imagine.
We take so much for granted with our Alien technological advances. Cellphones , laptops and big screens.
Sometimes it's great for the soul to take a drive down that dusty dirt road and appreciate not what we don't have, but what we do have and the people around us.
