bmf30180 Posted August 5, 2020 Posted August 5, 2020 I served with a Marine that had met a tailor in Afghanistan on one of his deployments. He had him start making smoking jackets in crazy colors for him and his friends back home. Since his retirement from the Marines, he has maintained that connection with the tailor and has turned it into a side business. I have one in crushed red velvet with black lapels to match the colors of my beloved University of Georgia. https://digsbylehigs.com/ It's a fun conversation piece and I really do enjoy sporting it around the house or popping into a lounge and kicking back. 3

Great back story and nice looking jackets. Thanks for sharing. Always happy to support vet owned business.
dshot Posted August 5, 2020 Posted August 5, 2020 The amount of time that took I can't even imagine. Awesome find! I'm working on my Cohiba jacket now.
