I don't normally do cocktails but this is one that I would like to try over the weekend.

Bourbon strawberry ice tea cocktail. Normally like my bourbon neat but 95 out and only way wife likes bourbon!

Benediction Cocktail:

Benedictine

Dash orange bitters (I’m out so used angostura)

Top with sparkling wine

Garnish (omitted)- citrus twist

Frozen margaritas are big here in Phoenix but I would take a frozen mojito over the myself. They look great!

A twist on the traditional Manhattan, with the addition of chocolate bitters.

• 1 part sweet vermouth
• 2 parts bourbon/whiskey/whisky
• 1 part simple syrup
• 4 shakes chocolate bitters
• 2 shakes Angostura bitters
• 2 maraschino cherries 

Note: Apologies for the NC, my first 24:24 order (and first batch of real, long filler cubans arrives on Tuesday)

I love mojitos and took up the challenge of turning my recipe into a slushee this year. Let’s just say I don’t make mojitos anymore. Let me know if you want the recipe! ?

Alright here you go! Let me know how you like em! 
 

2-3 limes juiced

4 sprigs fresh mint (I recommend growing “mojito mint.” It’s a variety from Cuba and makes a big difference with mojitos.

2 dashes bitters

1 teaspoon sugar (not really needed)

6-8 Oz amber rum. I like mount gay or Doorleys.

add ice and begin blending/adding more ice until you get a thick slushee consistency. Be careful with these as you don’t really know you are drinking ?

For my first entry, a cheaters Zombie Punch. 

3 parts mixer to 1 part dark rum and 1 part white. Not how the bottle suggests, but i find thst the addition of the dark rum adds a nice body to the drink that cuts through the cinnamon in the mix. I can say I've made this drink multiple times from scratch and it's more trouble than its worth so thr mix is a real life saver and doesn't really take anything away. Pairs well with an erdm.

Second up, my take on a Singapore Sling. 

2 oz gin. 2 oz cherry whisky, 3/4 oz amaro, the one i use has a nice cardamom and clove note to it, juice of half a lime and 3 to 4 oz pineapple juice, plus an optional dash of simple syrup. 

This is a cloudy monster of a drink that sips deceptively smooth, but packs a punch. It's herbaceous despite the significant fruit component, thanks to the gin and amaro in the background.

Poolside Sunday....can’t be beachside in Greece, so we bring a little taste of it home with an Aperol Spritz during these hot SoCal weekends. Spice it up a little bit with a blood orange...PSD6 always hits right. Cheers, everyone #wutang

Man, I love an aperol spritz. I find the brand of sparking water really matters - I prefer Perrier.
