I’ve gone through a lot of vehicles in my life but this is my favorite I’ve ever owned. Might not be the best and definitely not the most expensive but it’s my favorite. 1987 VW Weekender. It’s slow b

Best so far 2018 Alfa Romeo Stelvio Ti Sport. 3 years in, a fantastic driver's car.   Our dog won't even get in the other.... Worst, '76 Chevy Vega bought used in the early '80s.

I haven't ever really had a bad car, but here are my current cars, which are also the best ones I've had. The Alfa: The E30 (currently in the shop getting repainted):

Probably only because it was my first, but loved my 1977 VW Scirocco. Haven't had any that were really bad, maybe only my grandfather's Ford Pinto I drove around for a short while.

Best: Lexus GS300. Gas, oil, filters and wipe blade, tires and that's it over 5 years of ownership.

Worst: Datson (I'm old) B210. First new car after college.  It left me on the side of the road often.

Worst, '76 Chevy Vega bought used in the early '80s. Many issues but by far the worst when the oil pan got ripped from underneath by a mildly raised manhole cover.

I have the Giulia ti sport. Love it.

I just test drove the stelvio quadrifoglio and that is the new must have thing. They make them with sun roof now

Two of my best: my current ride is the OG BMW M2 in Long Beach Blue, and a 1992 or 93 Mazda RX 7.  Both reasonably affordable, reliable— and fun to drive.

Not the fanciest cars I have ever owned, but certainly the best manufactured and engineered cars for when they came out.

1.  1985 Toyota Celica.  Timing belt broke and just slapped a new one on.  No damage.  Could not kill that car.  Amazing quality interior materials.  Really some of Japan's best for the period

2.  Honda S2000.  Just everything about it was special and construction was very impressive.  Solid as could be

Worst was a Merucry Topaz.  Had to buy parts on the month the car was made and we were buying them often.  Real crap car.  Mom had to get brown to match our Golden Retriever.  It was my car soon after I got my license.

Lol one of my high school friends had same Datson. We never knew after a night of Boones Farm Stawberry Hill if we would make it home or not!

My dad was a car dealer so I've had/driven just about everything made between 1969-1987.  For the most part, they all had a time and place for me that was pretty good.  Of the cars I've owned, my worst was my 83 Lincoln Mark VI.  I wanted it to be great.  It was a pure American gas hog, CB/8 Track combination radio, opera lights in the back, giant interior.  Bought it in the early 90's and it just hated either the ethanol mixed in the gas or the low octane or combo of both.  Had to floor it on the highway to get it to smooth out.

1983 LINCOLN CONTINENTAL MARK VI -

Favorite car was a 2006 VW Passat 3.6.  Looked great and was an absolute rocket on the road.  One time averaged over 100 mph coming back to Chicago from Louisville and got 29 MPG on the trip!  Car's got over 100,000 miles and my daughter is still driving it and will until it dies.

Sadly now I drive a Toyota Highlander Limited.  Boring.  Does everything it's supposed to do, looks pretty good, great stereo, reliable as hell, good mileage, great in the snow, lots of space....yawn....it's only a perfect car... for me...now.

2006 Honda Civic , super reliable and excellent on gas. I had a manual transmission and had over 450k KM on it on the original clutch. Oil, filter, tires, breaks that’s it except the AC went after I think 7 years and had to fix it. I always thought I would drive it until it broke down. I probably would still be driving it but I wanted something new.
Have a 2016 BMW 328i x drive sportline package. Good looking car and fun to drive. Haven’t had any major issues with it but I am up on the lease and looking for something new.

Worst car would have to my parents old Jeep Grand Cherokee 1990 I believe it was. My brother and I had it through most of our high school days. Seemed like it was in the shop too many times.

I've only had a handful of cars. Worst one was a 2003 Toyota Echo, which I got in maybe 2013. Nothing broke on it in 5 or 6 years, but it was just a really economy ride. AC could barely keep the car cool in Canadian summer amongst other things.

Best car Tesla Model 3 AWD. 0-60 in under 4 seconds. Lots of cool technology features. Not sure if electric cars count in this but it's the only "nice" car I've had.

Chevy Corsica

For some reason those were everywhere in the 90s. Ton of Cavaliers also. Then I remember the Geo Prizm was the big one. GM was really killing it in the 90s.

Honorable mention to my best friend in high school's 86 Suzuki Samurai. Called it the "flipmobile". Every winter he'd invariably hit a patch of ice and it would flip. As long as he had another guy with him he could roll it back over and drive on. Ended up being very reliable.

1984 Audi 5000. You name what could got wrong and it did. Only owned it for a year and a half.

Wasn't that the one where people were hitting the gas instead of the brakes and plowing through their garages? Unreliable and deadly.

Jeep JK 2007 4D Unlimited Sport.

Loved and hated it all at the same time.

They fitted a standard gasoline feeder to the petrol tank. It was a diesel requiring a different fitting........morons

22 recalls

Death wobbles started at 10,000 km and lasted on and off until 30,0000 km.  Jeep mechanics perplexed. Corner mechanic fixed it in an hour with a kick arse steering dampener.  6 years later Jeep recall all JK to do the same.............morons

I haven't posted here for a while, but my first car was a '78 Scirocco, and this brings me back.  It blew a cylinder a month after I got it, and it was still a hell of a lot of fun to drive.  The mechanic's recommendation?  Drive it 'til it dies...so I did.  : )  +1 for the Scirocco.
