Popular Post Bri Fi Posted July 6, 2020 Popular Post Posted July 6, 2020 I have a few boxes with my daughter’s birth month/year to hang onto for special occasions later on in life. It’s a little difficult plunging into those boxes, but for a chance to win some good cigars? No brainer. This cigar was well constructed. Smooth Colorado wrapper with some sheen. Aroma was dominated by cedar from the Tubos it was stored in. I love that sweet smell. The first third was all a light pepper flavor. Couldn’t say quite bell pepper but it had sweetness to it. The construction was spot on. I actually rolled the ash off at about an inch and a half because I felt it was impacting the draw and flavor. Razor sharp burn. The second third was more on the bread side with some pepper in the background. Cream popped it’s head in every few puffs but only enough to be a tease. Construction still amazing. The last third brought back the pepper and wood notes. I ended up nubbing the cigar and enjoyed every minute Overall the cigar was not incredibly complex but still had great flavor. I remember the last out of this box was bitter and not ready. I look forward to keeping the remaining tubos for some time. This is exactly what I expect from a reasonably priced everyday smoke. 89/100 5
