teamrandr Posted June 23, 2020 Posted June 23, 2020 This is the first one from the box. It feels quite underfilled. This is not a good sign. I am going to go ahead an review it anyway. The wrapper is a nice colorado brown. At cold the aroma is very pleasant. Barnyard tobacco mixed with some honey and cocoa. 1/3 Draw is full bore. Way too full. The flavor is coffee and tobacco. The draws are just too wide open. This hinders the flavor. This is not a first for me. I had mainly experienced overfilled cigars from Cuba over the years I have smoked them. The last two boxes of 2019 cigar I bought had quite a few underfilled sticks. Halfway and fortunately the smoke has been for the most part enjoyable. Rather smooth with notes of coffee, honey and cocoa. Hopefully the rest of the box has a better fill ratio. Final 3rd I was careful to take as light of draws as possible. The smoke is light in body. A very good morning smoke. It has smoked better than I thought it would given the underfilled status. Coffee, cocoa, honey, tobacco. I will revisit soon. Score: 75 I have to mark this one down a lot due to the construction. It did end up surprising me and was a decent smoke all things considered. 3
