Popular Post Akela3rd Posted June 7, 2020 Popular Post Posted June 7, 2020 Love the size, feels good in the hand. Little or no smell on the foot, mild tobacco if anything. Light draw again not giving anything away. On lighting, very slight chocolate and mushroom, delicate but flavourful. Nice ash and good burn line, it's a very well made stick. Cream fills out the profile after a minute or two and after a mild start it's already moved to a bit under medium in strength. There's a bit of a twang developing - this is interesting... Cedar, nuts, and a salty little tingle. Light draw forces me to smoke slowly, but this just enhances the cigar. More creaminess with a slight bitter note balancing it out. There's a definite reminder of the SPNP in this. It is a unique mix though. Final third turns more bitter and harsh, still with an underlying cream though, but overpowering it. Nuts remain the main noticeable flavour point with that mushroom theme remaining. Generally pleasant enough but a good long rest planned for the remainder of my stash to knock off the elbows in the finish. 7/10Album - Momento Mori (Anthology 1978 - 2018) by Barry Adamson. Someone I've vaguely followed since his early days with The Birthday Party and Magazine and his occasional further work with Nick Cave plus an eclectic output of jazz, blues, dance and film music. Excellent album. Listening on Spotify, having bought the vinyl online this morning (whilst smoking the N3) from Eel Pie Records. Kevin will be here later on his bike to deliver it, which is their lockdown way of keeping trading. Gotta support your local record shop! Sent from Cosmos Redshift 7 12
