Does anyone have a side by side?? If so which one would you recommend and why.  I want to get a 4 seater and put 3 seats in back for my wife and 3 kids.  Just looking for recommendations.  Also pics would be appreciated.

I have a John Deere xuv865m, love it. This model has a diesel engine, which allows me to use off-road fuel from the farm. Fill it up and go all day, without refueling. Top speed with the diesel is 35mph, which if fast enough for what I  use it for.  Mainly around the farm and through the woods. They make a 4 seat model that looks similar.

I love my Polaris Ranger. Pretty much unstoppable in snow. Great for yard project.

Where you live and what kind of riding you're planning to do should determine what kind of SXS you buy. Polaris, Can Am make several different models with different sizes and options, the Yamahas are pretty much full race mode, and although I've never been in the new Honda Talon, they look pretty nice and everybody likes the Honda reliability. Not sure if they make a 4 seater tho.

Whatever you get, suspension is the most important thing imho, besides horsepower of course!!  SXS forums are easily found, and much like here, they are full of great people with good advice.

My current ride is a Polaris XP 1000, with some suspension & tuning mods so I can bump over and climb just about anything. Not really family friendly, but it hauls ass. :-) We ride a mix of terrains from the mountains in the Pacific NW to the deserts and sand dunes of Arizona and Utah.
