I’ve had a few boxes of these resting for years now and have just recently started grabbing from it but I find I can’t keep my hands off them over the past few months. The code has been very consistent for me. Every one has a perfect draw, burn and flavor.

First third we have the classic Bolivar maltiness and a damp earth. The spice/pepper I find in them when young is there but very refined. Nice..

Second third and I’m greeted with voluminous clouds of dense smoke. The smoke coats the palate with sweet earth and baking spices. Getting some clove in particular.

Final third and everything is holding steady flavor wise. No changes at all, just a hair stronger.

I generally like smaller ring gauge cigars however with Bolivar the Coronas Junior and Petite Corona don’t do too much for me. Find them a touch boring. These Royal Coronas however are excellent!

Thinking of getting a couple boxes to age as well. My first experience with BRCs wasn’t great, but then i got a qtr box from El Prez and they were way better. Nice review!
