Rabbi
This is the first spring I have been through since I started buying CCs. Our humidity sometimes feels like the Pacific Ocean at the equator and I am on the eastern edge of " tornado alley. " When I take CCs with me on my travels by the afternoon they have exploded in places. I'm guessing that is caused by too much moisture. On the advice of several people here, including dear leader, I have lowered the Rh in my Cubans humidor from 69% to 62%. They smoke much better now, but I don't have room for even a small travel humidor on my bike and Ziploc bags aren't cutting it. Any words of wisdom from the community? dobbs
i saw a picture of your full-dress bike, if you can't fit a 5, 10, or 15-count xikar-style humidor on that thing, maybe you should re-think your travel needs. more to the question, if a 5-count travel humidor is too big, then bags are all that will do you. put a 58rh boveda or maybe even some silica packs (you can buy them) to draw moisture out good luck -dobbs
Colt45
When I travel using hard plastic cases (cigar caddy, etc), I almost always fill one slot with a cigar tube which I've drilled holes in and filled with an unmoistened desiccant. I know you said you've not much room, but a five count case takes up very little.
El Hoze
They sell some very well made air tight aluminum tubes that my guess would work well enough for a day on the road without any humidity control.
Chibearsv
A 10 cigar travel humidor (mine is a Mr Brog) is only about the size of a hard back book. For a long weekend, I don't even bother with the humidification and it works fine. There's got to be a way to make that work.
Colt45
For what it's worth, here's a (crappy) pic of my five and ten count travelers. I've found the ten count to be especially versatile in that it's a single row of ten across and measures about 8 1/4" square. I never use a humidifier as the seals are very tight and they are quite capable of retaining a cigar's humidity. As mentioned, I've actually found that a desiccant (think de-humidifier) to be much more useful.

LOL yOu would think, but for various reasons I removed the trunk. All that I had in bags/trunk now reside in bags only. I do appreciate the comments.
