Not exactly sure that this can be coined as a cigar review, per se, but there is fabulous food and cigars involved at least.

The day started off fantastically as it was my birthday. Celebrations commenced with (A) Not going to work and (B) A delightful 1998 SLR Churchill whilst chatting with a some of the lads of the Virtual Herf. Lashings of cream, fruit, leather and coffee. 2 hours of bliss on this and Rate it a 93.

Off to lunch post this with my daughter and time for a beer.

Back from lunch and time for another beer. Maybe another then another as it was bloody hot and hey it's my birthday, so why not.

Friends were coming over for a pizza party dinner at 6pm, so I prepared with a few more drinks. Here is a selection of some of them.

And continued on when they arrived. I was feeling really good in-fact great!! Then the food arrived which was well needed seeing I was swaying a touch. Followed by a delicious carrot cake made by my daughter for the occasion.

A few more beers and one of my mates has requested that we take on a cigar. Stellar idea!! I dive into the wineador and grab out a cab of PL coronas, "let's hit these" I exclaim.

How was the cigar you ask, well I do recall stating something to the descript "these are definitely are a tad more complex than the PLPC" & "wow look at the lovely sheen on that wrapper". Kinda remember it being amazing and that then we moved into rum territory. 

Not much into the way of pictures taken as it was now around 11pm at night according to the last picture shown here that I took. Flavours in the cigar, well I do remember at the time it feeling fantastic and pleasing. Followed by a few more in an out spots on the memory all seemed good.

Next morning i woke up with a taste in my mouth which was the very opposite of pleasing and fantastic. My goodness what the hell did I do last night was the thought swirling addledly in my mind. Did I do a @El Presidente and try smoking the cigar from the ash end?? Surely I would recall such an event. I call my friend and he assures me that I did not. I had only decided to sit down on a chair around mid night and declare I was done. Seems like that would have been fair enough.

All up great day with great friends, fun times and laughs a plenty. I'll score the day instead of the cigar and give it the even tonne!!
