Popular Post westg Posted May 11, 2020 Popular Post Posted May 11, 2020 Pretty simple mother's day for us . Snuck down to the beach with some tea and coffee, fruit and a few bakery items. Found a friend as well. Arrived home and opened a box of Grand Edmundo. ROU NOV 10. Delicious espresso, cocoa and chocolate. Started out great, construction and combustion spot on. Very delicate. Medium bodied, great viscosity , heaps and heaps of chocolate and sweetness half way through. Final third , butter on toast , Lush soft smoke, just amazing , very refined with a little spice thrown in . This cigar would be better after a nice lunch , that said a nice dessert smoke after a few desserts . The sun was out so I washed it down with a medium bodied bottle of Tempranillo. Nice combo. 12
Meklown Posted May 11, 2020 Posted May 11, 2020 What a great looking box. This could arguably be stated as the cigar that got me hooked on cigars! Just a crazy amount of dark chocolate when young - I think it has since mellowed a little and added some creaminess (I last had one around 12 months ago). Hope that the mothers in your life had a great day yesterday
westg Posted May 11, 2020 Author Posted May 11, 2020 Thanks ?. Rob handed them out at the first Havanathon . I went home and purchased three boxes from FOH . They were great 10 years ago , magnificent now. Was told it was the best mother's Day ever ? 2
