Popular Post cigaraholic Posted May 3, 2020 Popular Post Posted May 3, 2020 This is a cigar I don’t smoke very often, I’m sure it was just dumb luck that I got a box of these the year they were discontinued. I always seem to nurse a box of something I can’t replace. This seems like a perfect Sunday cigar on a beautiful morning in Northern California. Nice colorado shade wrapper and exactly on the published weight of 6.7 grams. The cigar opens with toasted tobacco and marshmallow, not a bad start! It’s a little under medium bodied with a perfect draw and great smoke output. Thru the first third the body comes up to medium and a sweet oak flavor comes in with some white pepper. The middle of the cigar turns into buttered popcorn with a sandalwood spice. The last third is caramel with toasted tobacco, white pepper and sweet oak. I love how flavorful small ring gauge cigars can be. This is a sipping cigar and takes all my attention to smoke it slowly without letting it go out. It’s not a cigar to have with a morning paper or laptop, unless you want to relight it 10 times. I just spent a hour enjoying it with a cup of coffee and listening to the birds. 7
99call Posted May 3, 2020 Posted May 3, 2020 great cigar, really nice to have a smoke that can be extremely complex but in a light register.
