we are three picks in and pretty much nothing unexpected.

thankfully the skins took chase young. woohoo!! the three people least happy about that would be dak, wentz and jones.

let us know if you are happy with your team's pick.

Buckeye (to LSU)  Buckeye. Buckeye. Urban Meyer Understood and could get talent. This can’t be underestimated. Amazing

As a Cowboys fan, not worried about Young :)

i sincerely hope your coaches take the same view!!

in all seriousness, with the new coaches of RR and JDR, and a line with allen, ioniddis, payne, sweat, kerrigan and now young, we should have one of the very best DLs in the comp. just a shame that the rest of the team is dire.

Not interested in watching. Just hoping for an NFL season to happen. Everyone knew Joe Burrow would be taken by the crappy Bengals. I wouldn't be surprised if the Bengals still suck regardless. Losing seems to be a tradition there. As a Giants fan, just would like to at least see them make the playoffs.

I do think the Clowney comparisons ESPN showed are unfair.  He’ll be far superior as a pass rusher.

Tyron Smith long term doesn’t give me confidence in containing Young on the left side, but our line overall with Zeke’s pass blocking should be able contain him and the Redskins.  Hopefully y’all don’t find a competent QB any time soon!

we've been looking for thirty years. odds are that we have to stumble on one soon.

Ive been saying the same thing about the Dolphins since Marino.  Look how well its turned out for them.

my understanding is that the skins were keen on marino. even though i think five or six QBs went before him that day. miami had the second last pick in round one and we had the last. he got right to the edge but you guys took him.

that said, it meant we took darrell green, my all time fave player.

Well I have to disagree with that.  I think he is going to be a disruptor.

That being said I only watched Washington's pick.  I'll check out the rest today.

Chase Young is good but very undersized and may need to be outside linebacker and he is very fast. I have seen it all and I don't see him being the player Nicky Bosa was straight away. Good luck Chase you will need it.

i agree with my friend, and fellow skins fan, below (or at least, above). i think he will be a star. and he will make the rest of our line even better.

bosa is listed at 6/4 tall and 266 pounds.

chase young is 6/5 and 265 pounds. so almost identical.

skins swapped to 4-3 which will suit him more than our former system.

he has been a superstar at college. does not guarantee transition but pretty much every report has him as, as close to a cert as there is.

time will tell.

Listen to Rob !!! We have seen both of the Bosa's and they are real deal. Chase has a lot to prove and I watch players and I don't get tunnel vision on a favorite team. I look at  him like Mack for the Bears . Very good a little undersized and can disappear at times.  Skins go 8-8 if they are lucky. Rob's Bucs may be good but I would bet on the Saints in that division and Atlanta's offense is very explosive. Good luck Bucs. I say Brady is injured by the 6th game and all the excuse machine media will be apologists . It's a given. 49er's will be the best of the NFC. Chiefs and Ravens the best of AFC.

listen to rob? why on earth would i start now??

sure, of course young has a lot to prove. but so does every single player who is ever drafted. all start from nothing.

its a given that brady will be injured? i think that is way more of a leap than mine. might go down pre season, might not. but unless you know something no one else does, it all remains to be seen.

the truth is a very very long way before we really see if any of our thoughts pan out. but fun to dream!
