Notsocleaver
So the production on Cohiba Talismans (and I think RyJ Tacos) has seemed to continue despite them being supposed 2018 ELs. Has the quality level on these stayed consistent with what seems to be a large run of something advertised as finite? Anyone with a recent purchase have a review?
El Presidente
We had the opportunity to do a side by side tasting last month of AGO 19 Talisman and OCT 17 Talisman. To be honest we couldn't tell the difference between them. Tacos is the first LE in a while that hasn't sold out relatively quickly. It is a fine cigar but R&J can prove to be a hard LE to move in 25's. I would love to hear others opinions
Kitchen
I had a Tacos last week and it was great. It is my third one from two boxes plus a 6 pack sampler. I found the first one to be amazing, the second was meh but I think it was too dry. The third was pretty damn good, but not up to the creaminess the first one had. I expect them to age well, at least I hope.
Wookie
I've smoked the 2017 and 2019 editions of Talisman. They are comparable to my palate. Like all Cohibas, pricey but can be great depending on one's palate at the time and the specific stick being smoked. I haven't tried the taco yet, but I'm intrigued.

I am 3 cigars into the box, and having gone through 3.5 boxes of 2017’s, they are on par with them. Great cigars....when you don't end up with the really dark maduro/oscuro wrappers. This 2019 box I am smoking from has medium Colorado shade wrappers, and they taste very good.
Chibearsv
I tried a couple 2019 Tacos from a recent purchase and they both were consistent and tasty. Flavor profile was not the same as usual for RyJ. More raisin than cherry and not as sweet but that's very possibly due to youth. I like them very much, and for a $30ish cigar, I think they are good value. Haven't tried the 2019 Tali yet. I'm going to give them every chance to shine by giving them some age although 1 or 3 will probably make it's way to my patio this summer.
